The Lady Tigers jumped out to an 11-0 lead following the first quarter and never looked back in their 54-17 win over Decatur this past Friday. With the victory, Hartselle improved to 19-6 overall and 3-0 in area play.
The Lady Tigers led 27-5 at halftime and 42-13 after the third quarter. They forced 26 turnovers and had 17 steals in the game.
Freshman Hannah Burks finished with a career-high 18 points to lead Hartselle. Karleigh Shipley and Anna Claire Gladden each had eight points.
Dasia Swoopes and Amiah Jackson each scored five points to lead Decatur (6-17, 0-3).
