Priceville 13, East Lawrence 2 The Lady Bulldogs raced past East Lawrence 13-2 in an area matchup to start the week. Darby Thigpen had two hits, three RBI and a run scored to lead Priceville. Katie King, Kristen Segars, Allie Denson, Wrozlie Barnett and Bentley Black each scored two runs for the Lady Bulldogs.
Madalynne Black pitched three innings to pick up the win. She allowed one run on three hits and struck out three. Elizabeth Murphy pitched two innings of relief, allowing one run on four hits.
Priceville 15, Good Hope 5Bentley Black hit two home runs and had five RBI to help Priceville improve to 18-2 and 5-0 in area play with a 15-5 win over Good Hope. Thigpen had a double and three RBI. Denson, Barnett and Kelsey Green each had three hits and three runs scored.
M. Black pitched four innings to pick up the win. She allowed four runs, all in the top of the fifth, and struck out five. Murphy pitched an inning of relief, allowing one run on one hit.
Lexington 5, Priceville 4The Lady Bulldogs fell to Lexington 5-4 in the Times Daily Tournament this past Saturday. B. Black had two hits, including a double, and a run scored, while Denson scored two runs. Barnett added a hit and a run scored.
