Danville picked up a 68-65 victory over 6A Gardendale in the West Morgan Christmas Tournament’s losers bracket.
KJ Melson had a double-double, 31 points and 11 rebounds, to lead the Hawks. Kohl Randolph had 22 points and nine rebounds, while Aaron Alexander added 11 points.
Jason Moore led Gardendale with 25 points. Clayton Cunningham scored 20.
