The top-seeded Danville Hawks took care of business on Tuesday night in the first round of the 3A Area 15 tournament with a 55-34 win over Vinemont.
The Hawks (16-8), who led 31-9 at halftime, was led by Kohl Randolph’s 26 points and 10 rebounds. Dylan Parker finished with 11 points and 5 rebounds, while KJ Melson added eight points.
Ryan Stewart finished with 13 points to lead Vinemont (8-17).
The Hawks will host East Lawrence, who defeated Phil Campbell 95-72, on Friday night at 6 pm.
