Falkville raced by the visiting Lady Lions 68-36 in a battle of ranked teams on Thursday night.
The 2A #10 Lady Blue Devils jumped out to a 17-15 first-quarter lead over the 1A # 9 Lady Lions. They extended their lead to 34-22 at halftime.
Falkville outscored Lindsay Lane 34-14 in the second half to take the win.
Sydnee Fitzgerald finished with a game-high 27 points, including 18 in the first half to lead Falkville (17-5). She knocked down five three-pointers to go along with six rebounds and five steals. Makenzie Veal added 13 points and eight rebounds, while Savannah Fowler had eight points and 10 rebounds.
Lindsay Murr had 15 points to lead Lindsay Lane (10-5) and Madelyn Dizon had 12 points.
