Falkville defeated Danville 47-36 on Tuesday for their second win over the Lady Hawks this season. They won 55-28 in December.
The Lady Blue Devils’ defense was the star of the game as they held Danville to 13 points in the first half as they jumped out to a 27-13 lead at halftime.
Falkville held on for the double-digit win despite being outscored 23-20 in the second half.
Savannah Fowler finished with 14 points and seven rebounds to lead Falkville (18-6). Sydnee Fitzgerald added 13 and Ellie Cate Hill had seven.
Sisters Blayne and BrityanGodfrey each had 10 points to lead Danville (8-8).
