The Priceville Bulldogs (11-2) baseball team swept Haleyville in the teams’ first area series of the season. The Bulldogs outscored the Lions 29-9 in the three-game series.

JoJo Garrison picked up the win after striking out six and allowing three earned runs in six innings. He helped his cause with a hit and two RBI. Kerby struck out 15 Haleyville batters in the Bulldog’s 11-0 win to secure the series. He pitched a complete game gem for Priceville, allowing four hits and four walks in seven innings. Chaney had two doubles and three RBI while scoring three runs to lead the Bulldogs’ offense. Jackson Prickett had two hits and three RBI, while Xander Gaines had three hits and two RBI. Prickett walked twice and scored two runs, while Garrison had two hits and an RBI while scoring a run. Prickett pitched six innings to pick up the win. He allowed one run while striking out five.
