Brewer High School announced the hiring of new basketball coaches for the boys and girls programs this past week.
Colton Smith, a Brewer graduate, will be the new girl’s head coach. He is replacing Josh Scott, who stepped down and is now at Danville as an assistant boys coach. Smith was an assistant under Scott and Jeff Andrews. He is the son of Ron Smith, former Brewer Lady Patriots coach.
Matt Crowe, a Brewer graduate, will be taking over the boy’s program. He was a part of the Brewer’s boy’s program that won back-to-back Morgan County Championships.
