Five area high school football games have been moved to Thursday night due to the forecast of heavy rain due to Hurricane Delta.
Delta is expected to make landfall sometime Friday on the Gulf Coast, bringing with it heavy rain and strong wind gusts.
Hartselle, Falkville, Danville, Priceville, and Decatur Heritage will all be playing their games on Thursday night.
Hartselle will be hosting Muscle Shoals in a pivotal game in 6A Region 8.
Falkville will host Tanner in a 2A Region 7 matchup while Danville will host Elkmont.
Priceville welcomes Central-Florence to Bulldog Stadium for a game that will have a big impact on playoff seeding in 4A Region 8.
Decatur Heritage will travel to RA Hubbard in a battle of the top two teams in Class 1 Region 8.
The Brewer at Mae Jemison game was already scheduled to be played on Thursday night.
As of 12 noon on Tuesday the following games are still scheduled to be played on Friday night, Brooks at West Morgan, Austin at Huntsville, and Hazel Green at Decatur.
