Abigail Garrison continued her impressive start to the season as she led Priceville to a 58-43 victory over Brewer on Monday night.
Five players scored in the first quarter to help Priceville jump out to a 19-9 lead. Their balanced scoring continued in the second quarter as four players scored. Garrison had 13 first-half points and seven rebounds, while teammate Jenna Walker added 10 points, five steals, and three assists to help give the Bulldogs a 36-17 lead at halftime.
The Bulldogs continued to put the pressure on in the second half, but Brewer fought hard in the third and fourth quarters as they outscored Priceville by two in both quarters.
Garrison finished with 20 points and nine rebounds to lead Priceville (7-2). Walker added 13 points, six steals, five rebounds, and three assists. Zoey Benson added 12 points.
Brewer (2-6) was led by Hope West, who scored 19 points, while Chloe Romine added 14 points.
