Hope West finished with a game-high 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead Brewer to a 41-27 victory over Danville Friday night.
The Patriots outscored the Hawks 13-0 in the second quarter to take a 17-8 lead at the half.
Bronwyn Borden added 12 points for Brewer (1-1).
Blayne Godfrey led the Hawks (0-2) with 12 points, while Alyssa Brooks added 10 points.
