Danville moved to 2-0 in area play with a 59-34 win over East Lawrence on Tuesday.
The Hawks jumped out to 14-7 first-quarter and extended the lead to 28-17 at the half. They outscored the Eagles in the second half, 31-17, to secure the victory.
Freshman Blayne Godfrey led the way for the Hawks (4-5) with a game-high 23 points. Her sister, Brityan, added 18 points, eight rebounds, and six steals.
Elisabeth Hand and Aaliyah Douglas added seven points apiece.
Hannah Hill’s nine points led East Lawrence (0-5).
