Danville drops game to visiting Pike Liberal Arts

DANVILLE – The homesteading Hawks lost to the visiting Pike Liberal Arts Patriots 32-0 this past Friday. 

The Patriots scored points in every quarter on their way to their first win of the season. They finished with 465 yards of offense. 

Danville was held to 89 yards by the visitors. Kade Taylor led the Hawks with 48 yards rushing on ten carries. Benjamin Ellenburg had two receptions for 23 yards. 

Matthew Tidwell led the Danville defense with ten tackles including 2.5 tackles for loss. 

Danville (1-6, 1-2) travels to Asbury (0-7, 0-4) on Friday.
