Bob Jones Hands Hartselle Their Third Loss of the Season

On a night when two talented teams took the floor against one another, several college coaches and staff members were on hand to watch the talented players on both teams. Coaches from Liberty, Wofford, Belmont, Samford, Western Kentucky, Huntington, and Martin Methodist witnessed an excellent ballgame between Hartselle and Bob Jones.

The teams didn’t disappoint as they battled back and forth before Bob Jones pulled out a 74-61 victory. This was the second time that the Patriots defeated Hartselle this season as they won 69-63 earlier.

The Patriots used a pair of 10-2 runs in the first half and closed on a 9-0 run to build a 35-24 lead at halftime. Bob Jones was led by Jaden Coleman who scored first-half 18 points while Brody Peebles led the Tigers with 10.

The Patriots extended their lead to 56-41 following the third. They held on for the 13 point victory.

Bob Jones was led by Coleman who finished with a game-high 26 points while Jalen Jackson added 15 points and eight rebounds while Jalen Myers had 13 points and nine rebounds.

Hartselle (8-3) was led by Peebles who finished with 25 points and four assists while Tad Sivley added 16 points and five rebounds.
